Have a Sunny Day!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner.
I can't believe that it's Friday night already. This week has just flown by and now it's time for the long Memorial Day Weekend!  Do you have big plans for the weekend?  I am going to be busy, busy, busy trying to get caught up on projects, yard work and a few things on my "to do" list.  I've got to get things finished up around here because we should be welcoming our newest grand daughter pretty soon now.  If she doesn't decide to make an appearance over the holiday weekend, her Mommy will be induced on Tuesday....I can't wait to meet our newest little one!

I have a fun, summertime card to share with you tonight.  I think this image is so cute and just perfect for a summertime hello.....

I still need a lot of work on my skin tones - but I think she's pretty cute!

Recipe:
* Image - "Summer Marci" from La-La Land Stamps
* I used my Copic Markers to color Marci
* The "sand" is a piece of Kraft paper inked up with brown ink
* I used my 3/4 inch circle punch to create a sun from yellow cardstock. I inked up the edges with orange ink and sprinkled on some Martha Stewart coarse glitter.

* I added Glossy Accents to the shades
* The polka dots on her bows are made with an Atyou Spica glitter pen
* I added a few gems to her flip flops and ears for earrings.

As always, I thank you so much for stopping in for a visit!  I always look forward to your visits and sweet comments -they make my day!  I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend and I'll try to keep you posted about our newest little grand daughter, Miss Hannah Elizabeth.

Until next time,

Follow your dreams....

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday to you!
Today is Design Team Day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I've got a sweet card to share with you.  It's graduation time again and I have several seniors I want to make cards for this year.  Lisa's new Graduates Cutting Files is just what I needed to get me started....

Recipe:
* I created my card base using the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I duplicated the bottom layer and welded the two shapes together to form a card base.
* The cute little graduate is from the Graduates Cutting Files.  I used a Peachy Keen Stamp (PKSC-01) for her sweet face.

* I did not have ribbon in the shade I needed for my card, so I used a Copic Marker to color some white seam binding and there you go....custom made ribbon!
* The sentiment is from the "Follow Your Dreams" stamp set by My Creative Time

* For finishing touches, I added a few white stitching lines, a pretty white felt flower and a necklace made of adhesive pearls. I also added Glossy Accents to her eyes for a bit of shine.

I have a few more cards I need to put together for graduation and plan on using more of these cute images.....

Aren't they just cute as can be?

How's that for a "guy" card?

Recipe:
* I created my card base with some great summertime papers by Bo Bunny. These are from the "Key Lime" 6X6 paper stack.
* After cutting my strips and mats, I distressed all the edges and inked them up with Vintage Sepia" ink by Versamark.
* My handsome, muscular guy is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Cutting File " Eternal Love

Check out those abs....

It's your day....

Hello everyone and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner!
Hope your week is going well for you.  Mine seems to be flying by and my "to-do" list seems to be growing right before my very eyes!  I'm trying to get things crossed off that list before our newest addition to the family makes her arrival.  She is due on June 1st, but it's looking like she may joining us a bit sooner.  Her Mommy goes back to the doctor today so, we'll see!

So, with a new baby on the way, I may disappear from the blogging world for a bit, but hopefully not for long.  If you don't see posts or get visits from me for a few days...get ready for LOTS of baby pictures!  In the meantime, I was able to put together a fun card to share with you today.  I've been itching to color this cute little froggie girl from Peachy Keen Stamps.....

Recipe:
* This darling little Peachy Frog is Female Floatin' Frog (PK-206). The fun sentiment is included in this set. There is also a Male version available in the Peachy Store,Fishin' Frog (PK-207)

* My card base was created using the Center Panel Step Card cutting files from Lisa over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons online store.

* The palm trees and starfish are from the Silhouette Online Store.
* My sky background was created with my Copic Airbrush and a few cloud stencils that I cut out from Kraft paper.
* I colored my little frog with my Copic Markers and added a bit of Stickles around the top of her glass for a "salt" look.  I also added Glossy Accents to the rest of the glass and to her eyes.

Ok, guess that about wraps it up for today. I need to get busy and get a few more things marked off that stinkin' "to-do" list!  I'll try to keep you posted about the baby as I can.  I know I will be able to post easily on my Facebook Page if I'm away from home - here's the LINK if you would like to follow my page!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll be seeing you soon....

New Baby Card

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and all you Moms had a great Mother's Day!

Today I have a sweet baby card to share with you.  I used the adorable new stamps from this month's release at Peachy Keen Stamps....

I LOVE the adorable little babies from this month's stamps!
This little guy and the sweet sentiment is from the Hey Baby (PK-208) set.

I used the "Stitched Capture Frame" die from My Creative Time for the cute Polaroid picture frame and a Spellbinders Die for my sentiment mat.

I added a white pom pom to the top of his cap and used Liquid Pearls to create buttons for his cute little romper.  And, a big yellow bow finished up this sweet baby card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope you enjoyed your visit!
I'll be seeing you soon....

Until next time,
